This notice explains what personal data is processed when you visit afsakar.dev, why it is processed, and what rights you have over it.
1. Data Controller

2. What Data Is Processed
This site has no user accounts and takes no payments. Processing is limited to the following.
2.1. Newsletter subscription
When you subscribe, the following is stored:
- Your email address
- The page you subscribed from and your language preference
- Your IP address and browser user agent
- The subscription date and, if applicable, the unsubscribe date
- A unique token used to build your unsubscribe link
The IP address and user agent are kept as a record that the subscription was genuinely initiated by you. They are not used for marketing.
2.2. Server logs
The web server hosting the site records the IP address, date and time, requested path, HTTP status code and user agent for every request. These logs are kept for security and for diagnosing technical problems.
2.3. Cookies and measurement
Cookies strictly necessary for the site to work are used without consent. Analytics and marketing cookies only run with your explicit consent and are denied by default until you give it. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

4. Recipients and Transfers
Your personal data is never sold and never shared with third parties for marketing. The following providers are involved in delivering the service:
- Hetzner Online GmbH — server hosting (Germany, EU)
- Cloudflare, Inc. — DNS, security and content delivery
- Google Ireland Ltd. — visit statistics (Google Analytics), only if you consented
- Gmail — newsletter delivery
Data is disclosed to public authorities only where a lawful and properly made request obliges disclosure under applicable law.
5. Retention
- Newsletter record: until you unsubscribe. After that the record is kept for 365 days so the same address is not mailed again, then deleted.
- Server logs: 30 days
- Cookie consent: stored in your browser for 12 months, then requested again.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to know whether your data is being processed, to request access to it, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to receive a copy of it, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent you have given.
Send requests to [email protected]; they are answered within 30 days at the latest. If you are in the EU, see the GDPR Policy for your additional rights.
You do not need to send a request to leave the newsletter: the link at the bottom of every email ends the subscription in one click.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to the admin panel is password-protected and actions taken there are logged. That said, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Changes
This notice may be updated. The current version takes effect on the date it is published here; you can track changes from the "last updated" date above.
